Why Philippine Military will fight for President Duterte to the End
As a Filipino and as a historian I never encountered a Philippine President who has full dedication to his people and most of all to his soldiers.  When Fidel Ramos became the President of the Philippines I thought he would become a President for his soldiers because of his record in the military and the police.  He was a WWII veteran, a war hero and a police chief during Marcos time but yet I never saw him giving 100 percent attention and dedication to the Filipino soldiers.
Instead he became a business-minded politician with a sole dedication to make the Philippines as the next Singapore.  President Duterte is different, he could be as strong as the late strongman Marcos, but Marcos was more of an autocratic leader to his military, but compassion wise, Marcos was...a little short.  Former President Estrada and Macapagal were also too short in giving attention the Filipino soldiers, no wonder they were easily toppled by the revolutions.  In their time they were too attached to the top brass of the Military and the Police, but they gave less attention to the lowest rank in the the military those who get shot and killed.

President Duterte ruled with discipline but with compassion and dedication to his soldiers and policemen, he promised them that he will take care of them and he did even in their wakes the President would never leave them he would not hesitate to visit the wake of the dead soldiers and police, even if it located far from Manila   he will visit and personally give the medal to the wife of the hero who died for his country.   President Duterte is no veteran of any war in the Philippines, but he believes that the Arm Forces of the Philippines is the sole organization of the nation that can protect his country and that must be taken care of.

The President that gives hope the wounded soldiers

Why Philippine Military will fight for President Duterte to the End
The President that listens to his soldiers

The President would also visit hospitals where the wounded police and soldiers are placed and he again personally pinned the medals and he give them something that will give them hope.

This is how good and moral boost the President of the Philippines, He give the soldiers  hope, inspiration and the will to stand up and fight again. He is the only one in the world that does that --- That is President Duterte.

President Rodrigo Duterte was moved to tears when he met Jerome Jacuba, a 28-year-old blind soldier at the AFP Medical Center. Jacuba became blind when shrapnel exploded near his eyes in Maguindanao last March.
